Move Estimate Options

We offer your choice of an in-home, phone or virtual (video) move survey.  All three methods can deliver an accurate move quote, and get you started on your stress-free move.

On an in-home estimate, an expert Ray’s move consultant will visit your home, physically survey your possessions to be moved, note environmental factors that may effect the move, and counsel you on the moving process. The move consultant will also determine any special needs or specialty packing you may require. An in-home survey typically takes one hour and can be scheduled at your convenience.  Our move consultants take extra precautions to maintain social distance, wear masks, and keep the area sanitized.

Additionally, Ray the Mover is proud to offer alternative move estimate options for those customers who would prefer to not do an in-home estimate.

For smaller local moves, we can often provide a price quote via a phone interview where we will base our estimate on the move details you share.

For larger and interstate moves, and for the most accurate touch-free surveys, Ray the Mover offers virtual move surveys. These surveys utilize state of the art video technology to provide an in-home survey via your mobile device.
